Esports is a rapidly growing industry globally, with Africa being one of the continents where the interest in esports is increasing. However, the esports scene in Africa is still in its early stages and lacks the infrastructure and organisation necessary to attract and retain top talent. To address this issue, #AUEsportsConnect is the new esports tournament system that will connect and promote African esports players on the continent.
Objectives:
- Create a centralised platform for African esports players to register, compete and connect with other players on the continent.
- Provide a matchmaking and scheduling system to make it easy for players to participate in various esports tournaments.
- Organise regional qualifiers leading up to a national or continental championship event to showcase the top talent from across Africa.
- Promote and foster a sense of community and competition among African esports players.
- Attract new players, viewers and sponsors to the African esports scene.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR NBA 2k23
All games in NBA2K will be played using the Private Match Mode after all are in the Locker Room.
Eligibility
- No Player shall be considered eligible to participate in or register to be a part of the Competition before their 16th birthday, defined as having lived 16 full years.
- A Player must be the minimum age required to have a full (not underage) 2k Account in their territory of residence, and meet the following minimum age requirements as of the time of registration and acceptance of the Official Rules and/or Event Rules:
- From Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria - at least 18 years old;
- All other Territories - at least 16 years old.
- If a Player is 16 years of age or older but under the age of majority in their country of residence before the start of the Competition, they may still compete in the Official Competition if
- they meet the other eligibility criteria in these Official Rules; and
- a parent or legal guardian accepts these Official Rules on behalf of the Player, and consents to the Player’s participation in the Competition using a parental consent form provided by the Tournament Operator and also accompany them to any Live Event

- Hold a valid EAT Account
- Be a resident of An African Country.
- Own or have access to the Game on a Supported Platform and have it connected via their own valid NBA2k Account.
- Have a valid Network ID (PSN ID/Xbox)
HOW TO PLAY
- This is a league for individual players. Players will not play as part of a team of other players, but will play head-to-head against another individual player.
- Players must have the most recent version and/or updates for the game.
- Players must be able to play online against other players (PS Plus/Xbox Live).
- Players must set their PSN/Xbox settings so they can be added as friends or receive messages.
