Color of Change teams up with Black streamers

United States of America (USA) civil rights advocacy organization Color of Change has teamed up with Black streamers to demand Twitch improve its commitment to fix the platform's abuse issues. This comes following several instances of localised abuse on the live-streaming platform in the past 12 months. This led to the #ADayOffTwitch movement which saw streamers striking to garner support following abuse. Ukraine calls for the games industry to ban Russia

With Russia's invasion of Ukraine still ongoing, Ukraine's deputy prime minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, in the country's latest attempt to pressure the Russians into calling off the invasion has urged all gaming companies including Microsoft and Sony to stop serving Russian users. GAPA believes Niuma comic will aid in advocacy

The Ghana Association of Persons with Albinism (GAPA) has stated their belief that the "Blind Frontiers: Niuma’s Tale" comic launched by Ghanaian video game company Leti Arts and French indie developer Blind Bend Studio on Monday 28th February 2022 will go a long way to advocate for persons with albinism.
