Shadow Warrior 3, a game developed by Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital, has launched the offbeat first-person shooter series to the next level with a seamless blend of fast-paced gunplay, razor-sharp melee combat, and a spectacular free-running movement system. The game is set to be released in 2022 this year and we await further details from developers.
The game follows the story of fallen corporate shogun Lo Wang and his former employer turned nemesis turned sidekick Orochi Zilla as they embark on an improbable mission to recapture an ancient dragon they unwillingly unleashed from its eternal prison. Armed with a punishing mix of blades and bullets, Lo Wang must traverse uncharted parts of the world to track down the dark beast and push the apocalypse back yet again. All it will take is the mask of a dead god, a dragon’s egg, a touch of magic, and enough firepower to hold off the impending cataclysm.
The game recently took to twitter saying that it will take 500 hours to complete the game 60 times. By our math, that should take a little over 8 hours straight to finish just once. Seeing that gamers can be a bit more radical, we only wait to see what kind of experience the game brings.
